Prodigal Son
Certain man had two sons.
Younger demanded his portion even before he was able to handle his portion. Father was not willing to give him his share because father knows that he is not even mature enough to use his portion. Father said, my son, you are still very young.
Heavenly Father knows our ability, our maturity, and He does not want His blessings to give us. Because He knows that we are going to spoil that property or blessings. Our God is an all knowing God.
We Christian the children of God we ourselves do not know what we are going to do with what we are demanding from our Father. When Father is reluctant to give our demands we keep demanding. We start gramling and complaining even against the father as Israelietes did during the forty years traven in the wilderness. And the consequence of complaining to Father was the shortening of their lives.
Gracious father: All fathers are gracious. When children keep demanding what they want, even the cruel father. permits what the child wants. Father knows that he will go wild with his portion but still Father gave him so that he will be happy with what he is demanding.
Young children are fashioned to drive auto bikes and fancy cars even before they are well enough to drive. They demand from their parents that they need vehicles. Parents give their child in order to please them. But sometimes the result appears to be sorrowful.
Sometimes our demands are even not shooting to our lives our gracious God permits in our lives. It does not mean God has granted in your life. It is just because you keep demanding God permitted your life so that you will have lessons from that situation. Many think God has given me such and such things but eventually they turned into an unfavourable situation. That's because you keep demanding what was not for you.
Younger son took his portion and went to a far away foreign land and wasted all his portion and finally he was in scarcity and suffering. Suffering and scarcity made him realize his father and repented his wrong decision.
Today your decisions are right or wrong, everything will be granted but the result will show what is right and what is wrong. We think everything is right and everything is a good provision of God. Not at all everything you do cannot be right.
Pharisees and sadducees thought they were the most religious people. They know all the law and keep it strictly. They used to pray in public places. They used to have fasting and prayers. They kept the 10 commandments strictly. But Jesus said to them that they are Hypocrites.
Without delay repent and come to Father realising that all your decisions are not right. Most important virtue in a Christian life is HUMILITY. The key to manifold blessings is HUMILITY.
